On March 21st, Joel School participated in “World Down Syndrome Awareness Day” in memory of our kindergarten student, Logan Acheychek. Students and staff wore colorful mismatched socks and sang touching songs while parading through and around our school. We are grateful to all staff and students who planned and participated in this special event, and to families and staff for generous donations of $750 to the Down Syndrome Association of CT.
